| I read my high school friend's blog and i was stunned to see how he writes. He is so different from the way i used to know him. Haha. Yeah i know people change! Oh well i got inspired to write again... we have a community immersion as part of rle and it's our 3rd and final day today at the site. i acually learned to love the place already because the people are so nice. this morning a lady approached me and she was asking me if i could possibly get her mom's blood pressure. i didnt wanna say i dont have it cuz that makes me an irresponsible (future) nurse(haha yuck!), so i said i'd get back at her once im through with the family i was interviewing. Good thing i saw josh and lent me his kit! i love josh the savior! haha and then when i went to their house, i found out that the lola(the one that lady referred to as her mom) is living with her 7-yr old grandson alone! And the lady isnt related to her; she's just helping them to get through everyday.. She said she even do laundry for other people just so she can give money for the expense of lola and the grandson. When i was taking lola's bp, i was scared to put the cuff around her arm because her skin doesnt have a turgor anymore and she might get hurt if i put it to 220 because she's hypertensive. True enough, her bp is 180/110 which falls under stage 2 hypertension. The lady told me that lola has a menu for daily food intake but she cant follow it because they dont have money to buy them.. sometimes she's only eating bread and coffee.. the lola is like, yeah.. i dont wanna ask for my children's help because i know they have problems in terms of money as well." What the heck. Her children shouldn't wait for her to come to them, it's their duty to take care of her. Gosh and i dont know what to say cuz serioulsy, im like, puzzled by the situation. i feel bad for lola. like why are her children like that?! how can they do it to their own mother?! abandoning and letting her suffer... and the person whos taking care of her is the one that isnt even related to her...*sigh* |

| Like i would spill what's on my mind. Blame The Havaianas Freak for pushing me so now I'm reconsidering it. I watched Step Up na. It was pretty boring for me but i have 5 words to say: Channing Tatum is soooo hot! He was so good. rarrü And i think I'm doing pretty bad at school. I'm sick of studying. So boring. Ack. |
